They walk into a local fish market. The owner knows Christopher—he’s a regular. He’s also a SCAMMER. 🐟😏
🧠 THE SETUP
Christopher orders a few pounds of shrimp. The fishmonger bags it up. Hands it over. Christopher weighs it in his hand. He doesn’t need a scale. He KNOWS. 😒🦐
Christopher: “You shorted me. By at least half a pound.” 😤
Fishmonger: “No, no—that’s a full pound! I swear!” 😨
Christopher: “You swear? On your mother?” 😶
The fishmonger freezes. He knows what that means. He quickly adds more shrimp. Apologizes profusely. Christopher takes the bag. Walks away. 😰🐟
🗣️ THE LESSON
Outside the shop, Christopher turns to Matt.
Christopher: “You see that? He thought he could cheat me. And he would have—if I wasn’t paying attention.” 😤👀
Matt: “But it was only half a pound.” 🤷♂️
Christopher: “It’s never ‘only’ anything. You let them take half a pound, they take a pound. You let them take a pound, they take your WALLET. You understand?” 😡💵
Matt nods. He’s learning. Christopher lights a cigarette. Looks at the sky.

Christopher: “Tonight, we’re running a poker game. Big money. Big players. You keep your mouth shut and your eyes open. If you do good, you’ll move up. If you screw up… you’ll be selling fish for the rest of your life.” 😎🃏
Matt swallows. He knows this is his one chance. He’s not going to blow it. 😤💪
